PIIC Offers MyYouth Tourism Programme

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 12 (Bernama) -- Youths who are still unemployed or intend to raise their potential can participate in the Junior Executive Programme of Putra International Intellectual College (PIIC).

PIIC chief executive officer Dr Barathan Muniandy said the programme which offers seven skills certifications is part of MyYouth Tourism which aims to involve youths in the tourism industry.

"We aim to produce more than one million youth workforce in various fields including tourism within three years," he said after the launch of MyYouth Tourism by Tourism and Culture, (Kuala Lumpur/Putrajaya) director, Ahmad Alsraf Ahmad Mokhtar, here today.

The seven certificates offered are Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management, Certificate in Leadership, Certificate in Business English Communication, Certificate in Fundamental in Information Technology, Certificate in Fundamental of Mathematics, Certificate in Executive Interview Skills and Certificate in Executive Grooming.

Participants of the three-month programme are charged registration fee of RM500. It is open to youths between the ages of 15 and 40 years, whether school leavers or university graduates.....
